The Glenmorangie Wood Finishes Range

Glenmorangie Madeira Finish
With a drop of water, fresh black pepper emerges and a strong trace of humbugs (more than just 'toffee and mint' but having both these characteristics). Some citrus and again the intriguing burnt characteristic, with some undefinable winey undertones. After a while in an open glass, deeper fruit and spice notes emerge, like Christmas cake. (£38.50)

Glenmorangie Port Wood Finish
Glenmorangie Port Wood Finish is the colour of antique copper: golden, but with a rosy hue. With a drop of water, the key aromas are of butterscotch and dark chocolate, but with fresh, minty notes and a trace of dryness, like lint. There is some sandalwood here, and citric fruit, even a hint of allspice. Perfect after a good meal, or to savour at any time. (£38.50)

Glenmorangie Sherry Wood Finish
Glenmorangie Sherry Wood Finish is the colour of light gold. It has a complex aroma - full bodied sherry wine notes with traces of honey. With the addition of water, citric fruits emerge with traces of nuts and hints of vanilla. The flavour is pleasant and warm, with a long lasting after taste. A full bodied malt whisky which can be served confidently at any time. (£38.50)

Glenmorangie 10 Years Old
Glenmorangie 10 Years Old is a Single Highland Malt Whisky of great character and heritage, of unique flavour, bouquet and colour. It is produced in limited quantities in the time-honoured fashion by a small band of dedicated craftsman, the Sixteen Men of Tain.

Glenmorangie 18 Years Old
The 18 Years Old introduces notes of honey, nuts and caramel; it is silky smooth to taste, mellow and artfully balanced, and has a sweet richness - traces of vanilla or custard-cream, but with a minty freshness and a very long finish. It will reward leisurely consideration by even the most discriminating whisky connoisseur. (£31.60)

Glenmorangie 100 Proof
In the old days whisky was sold at full strength - around 100 proof spirit (57.2% alcohol). This was changed in 1916 by an unpopular government body. Now it is again permissible to bottle at full strength - and therefore savour Glenmorangie as it was enjoyed by our forbears.

Glenmorangie 1974 Vintage
Nosed straight the first impression is of marzipan and oranges, with a hint of sherry. A fresh yet rich nose, concentration reveals plum and nectarine notes. With the addition of water, the aromas become more distinct, fresh and sweet - lavender and beeswax, still with some orange and other fruity aromas.(£54.00)
